The first piece from the Take The Call series. Ara's first time in a phone booth, and she's seen enough movies to know how this goes. She has no idea someone's already on their way.

The black-and-white, manga-inspired artwork is hand made. The lines are Indian ink on paper and most of the gray tones are ink washes done on paper as well. It all comes together digitally for this print but retains the impact, rawness and uniqueness of the brushstrokes.
